WCC RACE 3 + 4 SASKATOON

Hello MKA Club members,

The registration forms for the WCC Race 3+4 in Saskatoon. Held on July 4+5 are now available on our website.

You can email or fax them to me, see bottom of the form.

I am again putting a program booklet together and would like to be more accurate this year and would appriciate an as early registration as possible.

I will be using the BC Race as a starting point.

Also a brief description of your racing carreer on a seperate form would be welcome. These can than be used by the announcers throughout the weekend.

Hello,

Just a quick note that our deadline is coming up for our program book, for those of you that haven't registered yet we would appriciate you doing so ASAP.

Many of you are asking if a cheque needs to be mailed in or not......No thank you, we gladly accept payment at the track upon registration. (Don't forget to bring your Club License)

All signs are there that this year will be a great event again.

So I would like to take some time to mention that many volunteers at our club have been working hard at making the track look great this weekend and will be doing so again Sunday the 28th to put the final touches in place.

Having done this for several years now it ALWAYS amazes me the details that need to be worked out before an event such as this......

I have been at many events, National, International, Kart related, and Non Kart related. Folks the WCC Series is a very well run Series, without a doubt One of, if not the Best, Series in Canada....and this is because of people like Russ Walsh, Joey Gyon, Gary lanzer, Brian Campbell, Fred Causer and SRA Karting.........This is because of local club members, YOU, that help out.....Lets face it we all do it ofcourse because of the Millions of Dollars we stand to gain on organizing this....... Haha yeah right......we all love spending time away from our family.....Hahaha..those pesky people we already spend way toooooo much time with outside of karting.....and ofcourse we all like to make a set of rules specifically designed AGAINST YOU ONLY..not to make it a fair and equal playing field for EVERYBODY nooooo ofcourse not...you know what.....lets really face it.....we all do it because we all Love this crazy sport.....we all do it because at the end of the day we can look back and say....... we have seen some of Canada's Best Racers compete this weekend,...what great people did we spend time with......oh and dont forget we all had a whiff of Victory....

So make sure you THANK those around you for making this all come together.......I know that as i'm writing this, I have forgotten to mention somebody already.....

Lookng forward to a Competitive WCC Event Round 3+4

On a Seperate Note......

Many have also been asking about our Famous Dinner.......

This year we have a caterer bring us the following.


Choice of
Chicken Souvlaki,
Pork Souvlaki,

Ceasar Salad,
Tossed Salad

Lemon Roast Potatoes

Garlic Toast,

Beer or Pop,

For the Kids there will be some Chicken Fingers and Fries.

Last year we had ordered a 100 dinners and adjusted that the last minute to 135 and still had to turn people away.

If you haven't already please fax or email in your registration forms ASAP

It is A LOT EASIER for registration when we have pre-registrations done it saves A LOT of time for those doing it and also for you not having to spend more time then Necessary...Remember you only have to register for yourself....WE have to register EVERYBODY......

Also a reminder for those out of towners we will be checking your club memberships so have those licences with you when you register.


No Membership no Racing (you can always become a member of our club)
